NHL has issued memo to all clubs/goalies saying all netminders must be wearing the "new" re-designed/size appropriate pants by Feb 4.

I hated to hear the news about losing Hunt. That sucked.

What's the over/under on how many games it takes Carter Hutton to revert back to being Carter Hutton?

There was one on the game recap, looked like it was under his skate against the post, ref was in poor position.

The latter part is what i said at the game live. No way he could know if it was frozen or not based on where he was. Looked like positioning by a ref in our beer league games.

Yeah, a mistake by the ref for sure. Should have been blown dead, wasn't because the ref was in a bad spot and wasn't sure. Puck in the net before he blew it dead.

I should have bet the house on the under for Hutton good games....

The team was terrible in front of him tonight. Sounds familiar to me.

Me too, i was on that side at the game, no way to see it all, but since he lost track it should have been blown dead. Hutton had it covered for about 5 seconds before it was pushed in

Agreed. I was sitting on that side and was shocked the play wasn't blown dead... Couldn't see the puck at all.

It's amazing to me how difficult this team makes it to exit the zone. Keep it simple, stupid!

To be fair you could see the puck partially outside of the skate from some anfles and it was like only three seconds if that, that it sat there.

Puck was frozen for over 3 seconds, which means whistle should have gone; official was completely unable to see puck, which means whistle should have gone; and puck was under goalie's pad, which means whistle should have gone. It was pretty inexcusable. That guy needs to go back to the AHL, he's clearly not ready to ref in the NHL.

zthe thing is the puck was never fully covered. If it was the Blues scoring and say it was a no goal because of a quick whistle we would complain the other way. Over a third of the puck was sticking out the entire time. The ref said he saw the puck still so and that is how it should be called.

I hae more of a problem that Ryan was able to so freely get to the puck in that instance. I see Blues players going for such a puck get tackled. That is te bigger issue. Passing the blame on the ref, especially in this instance, is weak and too easy.
